When XLS is selected as target for the fetched results the data will be put in a new XLS file. Because the data is directly written into the XLS file this output option is extremely fast.
The XLS file produced is like any other Excel xls file. Simply open it in Excel.

The following options can be set:

• File Name
• Print column headings checkbox
• When complete open file checkbox
