When Excel is selected as target for the fetched results, SQL*XL will put the data in an Excel worksheet. You can let SQL*XL freeze the first row (column headers) so that if you scroll through the records, row 1 will always remain visible as the top row. To unfreeze the pane use the Excel menu Window|Unfreeze.
