We didn't want to spend $85K to purchase Informatica connection to PeopleSoft

Approach taken

Created mappings in Excel, uploaded the mappings into Oracle tables using SQL*XL, then PL/SQL packages read the mapping tables to load the data mart.

Results

Worked just fine!
