Requirements to meet

We needed to find a tool to help us to work with the Oracle database and Microsoft Excel. Important considerations are: good performance and ease of use.

Issues to tackle

In order to automate selects, inserts and updates into our database we need to work with SQL statements in the Visual Basic language.

Approach taken

We had to develop some Visual Basic code to manage our SQL statements

Overall we have automated some processes between Oracle databases and Excel
