Array formula. To use this function select a range of cells (e.g. 1
column and 5 rows). Then enter the formula and press Ctrl+Shift+Enter. The
results will show up in the cells.
Description: Parses in string into words and shows the
resulting words each in a new cell. This function is ideal to cast a
plain text table into an Excel table.
Text: String with words to separate.
Example: Select the cells A1 to D1.
Enter the following formula and press Ctrl+Shift+Enter =Words("hello this is great!")
Result:
A
B
C
D 1 hello
this
is
great!
