Chemistry - AtomElectronConfig

Syntax:
= AtomElectronConfig(Atom)

Description:
Returns the electronic configuration of the ground state of the given atom.

Atom: atom number or symbol.

Examples:
'To find the electronic configuration of Fluorine:
=AtomElectronConfig("F")
Result:
[He]2s2 2p5
Fluorine has the electronic configuration of Helium plus 2 electrons in the 2s and 5 electrons in the 2p orbitals.


'Find the electronic configuration of Oxygen (atomic number=8):
=AtomElectronConfig(8)

Result:
[He]2s2 2p4
Oxygen has the electronic configuration of Helium plus a filled 2s orbital and 4 electrons in the 2p orbital.
