Managing NX sessions

The NX client can be used as 'remote desktop' software for X-windows systems. I use it to remotely connect to my linux ubuntu desktop. Sometimes the session management gets confused. Establishing a new connection to the server is in those cases not possible until the 'blocking' session is removed.

To clean up these sessions the nxserver can be used. Admin privileges are needed and I use the sudo command to run them:

sudo nxserver --command OPTION

command:
-list: to list all sessions
-terminate: to close a session
-kill: to forcefully close a session

OPTION:
-sessionid
-username
-display
