litLIB example: Extract words from string

In this example I will show how easy it is with litLIB to extract words from a string.

My example string is:
A1:   X=   0.0003               Y=   -0.0011               Z=    0.0004           Total=    0.0012

To extract the individual field values for X, Y, Z and Total I used the formula WordsMid:

WordsMid(trim(A1),2,1)  'to extract the value for X
WordsMid(trim(A1),4,1)  'to extract the value for Y
WordsMid(trim(A1),6,1)  'to extract the value for Z
WordsMid(trim(A1),8,1)  'to extract the value for Total
