Spherical polar coordinates

Cartesian coordinates (x,y,z) are related to the spherical coordinates (r,Θ,Φ) as:

x=rsinΘcosΦ
y=rsinΘsinΦ
z=rcosΘ

r≥0
0≤Θ≤π
0≤Φ<2π

r: the distance of a point P to the origin O
Θ: the angle that the line OP makes with the positive z-axis
Φ: the azimuthal angle measured in the x-y plane from the positive x-axis.
