It only retrieves one datapoint

I have this function in cell A1:

{=SQLQueryValue("select * from [portfolio pipeline]")}

Use CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER to create array, but it only retries the last recordset and the first ID colum. Any clues or description as to how to use this function?

I think you mean that you only see column 1 of row 1. You probably expect to see some more rows and all columns.

Entering this function in A1 is a good start:
=SQLQueryValue("select * from [portfolio pipeline]")

Now, select A1 using the mouse select cells A1 to D10.

Press F2 to edit the formula.
Press Ctrl Shift Enter to create it as an array formula

Et voila!

Best regards,
