encOffice AES 128 BIT compliant?

Quote:
My requirement is : Information that contains personal data transferred by email or any other electronic file transfer system must be encrypted to the required standard using a product that is minimum of AES 128 bit, preferably FIPS 140-2 compliant.
My question is - does EncOffice meet the AES 128 bit standard. I could not easily see this on the website.

encOffice uses 128bits RC4. It has the same keylength but uses another encryption algorithm. AES is a stronger encryption than RC4 but it is not supported in Office 2003. That's why we use RC4 in encOffice.
