Molecular mass:
The molecular mass is calculated by adding the atomic masses.
Examples:  
The atomic mass of carbon is 12.011; the atomic mass of hydrogen is 1.0079
 
 
Mass Number (A):
Synonyms: mass number, atomic mass number, nucleon number.
Mass number is the total number of protons and neutrons in an atomic nucleus. It is therefore an integer number.
Examples:
The mass number of carbon is 12; the mass number of hydrogen is 1.
