Access 2007 (*.accdb)

To connect to Access 2007 databases the following OLE DB provider can be used:
Microsoft Office 12.0 Access Database Engine OLE DB Provider.

You can check whether you have this driver installed. In SQL*XL open the connections dialog. Press the button to configure a new connection and use the Microsoft Data Link Properties wizard. If the Microsoft Office 12.0 Access Database Engine OLE DB Provider is not in the list please read the following topic where to get it and how to install it.

Download & Install the Microsoft Office 12.0 Access Database Engine OLE DB Provider
http://www.oraxcel.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1217845367

When this OLE DB provider is installed the connection can be simply made by entering the full path of the accdb file in the Source field in section 1. You can use the username Admin and omit a password.

When the connection is made it shows in the connection history as using the provider Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.

SQL*XL connection wizard
From version 4.3.12 Access 2007 support has been added to the SQL*XL connection wizard. You only need to give the location of the accdb files and the wizard will do the rest for you.
