Sub or Function not Defined
12.08.08 at 04:25:51

as per the subject I get a Compile Error - Sub or Function Not defined

Set SQLXL.Sql.Statements(1).Target = Targets(litExcel)

with 'Targets' highlighted

Firstly yes, I have checked all the References.
I have all macros enabled and trust access to the VBA project object model enabled

This only occurs on the Newer version (4.2.8), 4.0 works fine

I am running Vista with the latest Office (2007)

Things of interest,

I can record Macro's and everything works fine during the recording.
I get the above error if I try and then replay the resulting Sub/Macro

SQLXL is not listed as an Add-in under the Add-ins manager, which seems to me to be the problem
the previous version 4.0 worked fine with sqlxl loaded as an add-in (no Ribbon)

When the debugger is running the litSQLXLRibbon breaks, ie if I click on something I get the error box
about contacting Technical support
Application: litSQLXLRibbon
Module : Connect
Routine : SQLXLRibbonOnAction
Source : litSQLXLRibbon
Error No : 57097
Error : Application-defined or object defined error
Line : 920

And I have just read your post in the Programming, VBA, Macro Recording forum thread explaining
that the Targets function is known to be broken.

Looking forward to seeing that update.

Which Had I taken the time to look I would have noticed has probably been out for a while ! updating now..

Yes, in a particular version I managed to lose the Target function... It was added again and obviously the current version is without the problem.
