OraDebug to SQLDebug
The old name of the SQLDebug software was OraDebug. Not everywhere in the software this name change was applied. We now changed the database package from oradebug to sqldebug and also the session table from oradebug_session to sqldebug_session.
If you use an old version of SQLDebug there is absolutely no problem in continuing to use the software. Only when upgrading you may want to remove the oradebug objects and create the sqldebug objects again through the installer.
SQL*Debug is a program that allows the writing of debug messages to a windows program. It works therefore like dbms_output but it is more flexible. Not only are the messages written to a windows program you can tune into a particular session and see its messages. SQL*Debug presents a list of all the database sessions. Simply select the session of interest and SQL*Debug starts displaying the messages it generates.
For more information see:
Note: the url will continue to be oradebug...
