Oracle Designer - passing values to modules

Passing values from one generated form to another is done using a set of settings and preferences. The following items should be set:

In the called form, the form that receives the values, specify this for the block that receives the values:
Property Autoquery: Yes

Generator Preference (module component level):
USEPKR (primary key recall): Query or All

Set parameters up. In the calling form, in the called modules section, set the argument passed values.

In the called form add arguments and item usages that indicate what values are passed in and where they should be used.

I could not get the autoquery to work correctly without adding this extra argument to the called form:
CD$STARTUP_MODE, char 50, value= RESTRICTED AUTO QUERY

Just setting the USEPKR generator preference in both the calling and the called form is sufficient.

The alternative is the use of parameters. You don't need to use both.
