Upgrading to a version that supports Excel 2007

Question:
We currently use SQLXL v4.1.13 on Excel 2003. We are planning to upgrade to Excel 2007 because of some new Excel features such as 1 million rows capability. Can you tell me if SQLXL is compatible with Excel 2007, and if yes, do we need to upgrade SQLXL to the latest version? I'd appreciate your help on this. Thank you.

Answer:
In SQL*XL version 4.2.2 we added the Excel 2007 ribbon interface support and in that release we fixed some problems to make SQL*XL compiant with Excel 2007. You can read about what went into different versions in the SQL*XL release log:

The 65000 row limit of Excel was lifted for all Office versions and indeed SQL*XL also now supports sheets up to 1000000 rows in Excel 2007. See:

Upgrades will be sent to you free of charge under the maintenance scheme. Ad-hoc upgrade are available on request.
