Update results from select with order by

Question:
Will SQL*XL 4.2.4 fix this type of scenario...

1. perform a query like
select field1, field2, field3 from tableA where field1 = 'xyz' order by field2, field1, field3;

2. modify values in field2 (either by manually editing, or copy/paste from somewhere)

3. use the update multiple rows option to update the database with the changes made in step #2.

Answer:
I don't think this type of scenario actually went wrong in the first place. I checked it for you with an Oracle connection (I checked both OO4O and MSDAORA). I used this select:
select empno, ename, job from emp where deptno = 10 order by empno, ename, job

I made some changes in the ename field in Excel. I used the multiple rows update feature to apply these changes to the database. To check the results I requeried the data back into Excel. No problems.
