selecting * from a table with a collection column

To select all data from a table with a collection column you cannot do a simpel select * from table query. You need to use the following technique to show the data:

select *
from mytable a
,       table(a.collection_column) b

When running the select statement above you will get a cartesian product between the table mytable and the collection. In other words the rows in the table mytable will be duplicated for each value in the collection.
