Insert forms

Inserts can be done in two ways. One row at a time using a template in the single row insert feature or multiple rows at a time using the multiple rows insert feature.  Although mutliple rows is mostly used (see batch insert), the single row feature provides a helpful data entry sheet.

Starting the single row insert dialog you need to select the table you which to insert rows into. SQL*XL will create a spreadsheet in which you can put the new values for the row. A button on the sheet will insert the row.
