Using SQL*XL in Windows Vista

SQL*XL was tested on windows Vista and I have great pleasure to say that no problems were found. Installation went without a hitch and running the software was fine too.

Earlier we tested SQL*XL on Excel 2007 for which no problems were found either. See http://www.oraxcel.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1169722188/0.

We have made a few changes recently that pathed the way for correct execution on windows vista. Some work was done to make SQL*XL run better on windows XP SP2. The changes made will also be important for correct execution on windows vista. See:

The tested version is SQL*XL 4.1.13. If you use an earlier version than 4.1.12 you may need an upgrade in order to use it on windows Vista or on XP SP2.
