column headings as row headings
SQL*XL user Doug sent in the following question.
I did something really stupid in the SQL*XL setups, somewhere. The column headings are row headings, and I can’t move them back where they belong as column headings.
You are looking for the transpose option. In the SQL*XL resultset options screen you can set this option. In the corresponding program preferences screen you can save this setting.
Transpose means that you get columns for rows. Each column in Excel contains a row, the column headers will also be placed vertically in Excel as a column. Data from the database will be placed as columns in Excel. This can be handy when you have a lot of columns and not too many rows.
