Question:
I managed to connect to our database and to get information from there, but at the moment I'm not able to get any values from the database, only names of tables and collumns. How can I fix this problem?  
 
Answer:
You probably used the SQL*XL SQL editor to look at the table names.  
What you need to do is to run a SQL query, a search in the database table that tells the database what you are looking for. You can right click the table name to create a select statement or a sample rows statement. A select statement is the basic SQL statement to retrieve all rows.

Retrieving values from the database is done through the SQL select statement.
