Measuring the running distance
 
When you go out jogging or running time is usually what you measure. Trying to run your favorite circuit in a specific time is a common goal. However it is also nice to accurately know the distance you ran so you can compute your speed too.
 
I am using Google Earth to measure the distance. View the area where you ran and select the option to show the roads so you can orientate better. Then use the measure tool. Choose the path option and the unit of measure you prefer.
 
To draw a route, just use your mouse to click on the map. If you made a mistake you can use the left mouse button to erase the last point.
