Add column to table
18.01.06 at 15:16:17

Charles from the USA asked the following question.

Question:
How do I add a column to a table in SQL*XL?

Answer:
You can run any SQL statement in SQL*XL's SQL dialog. This includes statements to add a column. The Oracle syntax is:
alter table table add column_name data_type

Examples:
alter table test add mynewcolumn varchar2(10)
alter table test add my2ndcolumn number(6)

Note that you can run any SQL command from the SQL dialog.
