21.12.05 at 09:05:32

Kunter from the USA asked the following question:

Question:
Which database types can be used by SQL*XL?

Answer:
Almost any database type. Most databases support ODBC or OLE DB. These databases can all be used. I have tested the main databases thoroughly: Oracle, SQL Server, Access.

For a full list of tested databases please see:
http://www.oraxcel.com/projects/sqlxl/help/techniques/connecting/index.html

At the time I wrote this topic the following databases are supported:
Access, Active Directory, Advantage, dBase, Indexing service, Excel, Firebird, MS Project, Visual Foxpro, MySQL, Oracle, Paradox, PostgreSQL, SQL Anywhere - Sybase, SQL Server, Text files
