Monday:
I added some support for Oracle's timestamp data type:

Did some more work on Active Directory today:

Tuesday:
I spend some more time on AD today. It is coming together now. I have documented how to connect to Active Directory. A further document on how to query the AD will hopefully be complete tomorrow.

Thursday:
I have dealt with the issue today that Oracle's XMLTYPE columns could not be retrieved. I found a workaround. See:

Friday:
I have answered a question today how to prevent Excel displaying #### in a cell. This may happen when the value in the cell is too large for Excel to display. The answer is the use of the column format command. See:
http://www.oraxcel.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1134724164

I investigated XMLTYPE further today. It seems that better results are obtained when using the getClobValue instead of the getStringValue method. See:
