Using cell values in IN clause
11.11.05 at 11:16:30

Devaki from Singapore asked the following question today:

Question:
How do I use cell values in an IN clause? I want to use the values in cell range A1:A10 in a query. Can I execute: SELECT * FROM mytable WHERE mycol IN (A1:A10)

Answer:
No, at the moment you cannot use the cell range as A1:A10. What you can do is to code the individual cells as parameters:

SELECT * FROM mytable WHERE mycol IN (:A1,:A2,:A3,:A4,:A5,:A6,:A7,:A8,:A9,:A10)
