Universal edition vs Standard edition
06.10.05 at 10:28:07

To get this forum started I am posting another question from a customer today±

Question:
What is the difference between SQL*XL Universal and Standard?

Answer:
http://www.oraxcel.com/projects/sqlxl/editions.htm

SQL*XL 4 Universal is the edition where all new features go into. The Standard edition can be regarded as the continuation of SQL*XL 3, it is Oracle through OO4O only and it can not output to anything else but Excel-Word-Outlook. It is not ADO enabled and no new features will be added to it.
